The tasting will be held in the boardroom of the Elliott Hotel, above the shop
We will be exploring the effects of using different casks on different whiskies, ranging from a whisky matured on virgin oak, American Bourbon casks, specially seasoned casks and European Sherry cask.

Glengoyne 17 yo from matured with a strict wood policy on carefully selected casks: American Oak, Spanish Oak – some seasoned with Sherry
 Macallan 12 yo  fine Oak – Emphasis on Spanish Oak seasoned with wine & American oak seasoned with Sherry
